Retainers
With a custom-made retainer from Bridger Orthodontics, you or your child’s teeth can remain in their new positions permanently. Whether fixed or removable, these oral devices reduce the likelihood that teeth will shift back to their original location. For removable ones, initially, the patient can expect to wear it full-time. However, as the months go by, they may only need to wear it at night.
TAD Treatment
A temporary anchoring device (TAD) is used to shift certain teeth in ways not possible with braces alone, providing you or your child with a safer, more predictable, and highly effective form of orthodontic treatment. Tiny, biocompatible titanium alloy screws are placed through the gums and into the jawbone. They allow Dr. Paul to create a pressure system that encourages a particular tooth to move into its proper place. With TADs, the need for bulkier appliances, such as headgear, is reduced.
MARPE Treatment
MARPE, or Maxillary Anchored Rapid Palatal Expansion, is an appliance that is used to help widen the upper jaw in non-growing patients (young adults). Fully customized to fit any patient’s mouth, the device requires a small key that you will turn once or twice a day, ensuring ample pressure is applied to widen the upper jaw. Not only will it generate more room for crowded teeth, but it will also help your overall breathing and enable better sleep.
