iTero Digital Imaging
Fully customized and results-driven aligners are possible with our iTero digital imaging system. In the past, cold dental putty was used to capture impressions, but now, everything is done digitally, allowing for a more seamless approach.
With this unique system, Dr. Paul and our team can scan you or your child’s mouth using a handheld device with a small camera on its tip. A 3D model of the teeth will be displayed on a monitor, allowing us to closely evaluate the complexity of the situation and how orthodontics could shift the teeth and/or guide your child’s facial development over time.
3D Cone Beam Scanner
With the iCAT FLX 3D cone beam scanner, we can capture a 360-degree image of the mouth, jaw, and head, projecting a high-resolution 3D digital model for our team to analyze. This in-depth scan offers a clear, extremely detailed image so that we can prepare you or your child’s treatment plan and ensure optimal results. We can evaluate the jaw and teeth placement and determine how orthodontics could address a wide array of dental, developmental, and airway issues.
